Furuno FA50 Class B AIS Transceiver is a compact black-box AIS unit that transmits your vessel identity and receives traffic data from surrounding AIS-equipped vessels and shore stations. It is built to improve vessel identification and day-to-day traffic awareness in busy waterways, at night, and in reduced visibility.

The unit combines a 12-channel all-in-view GPS receiver with dual-parallel TDMA VHF channels and supports connection to compatible bridge electronics. It is intended for operators who want AIS data sharing and target monitoring without adding a large display at the helm.
